A family restaurant story that began in Beaumont, Texas, and continues around the table in Austin.

It started in 1948, when Vic and Irma moved their family from Chicago to Beaumont and opened a frozen custard stand. Al joined in the 1950s; with brother Ralph, their restaurant later became Patrizi's, a Beaumont fixture for 50 years.
From hand-rolled meatballs to homemade gumbo and pasta, the family cooked, worked and gathered together. VIC & AL'S carries that spirit into Austin.
